Lands End to John O'Groats

On the 27th of August this year, 2 Directors from James Donaldson & Sons Ltd, Alan Sinclair and Randolph Murray, will set off on their biggest challenge to date.

They plan to cycle the 1,000 miles from Lands End to John O' Groats in 3 weeks to fundraise for Spinal Research (Charity 281325). They will be unsupported (other than by their fetching lycra shorts!) so will be lugging heavy panniers on the bikes with all their supplies, just to add some real challenge.

Randy has kindly agreed to join Alan in supporting Spinal Research, which Alan has supported for over 20 years ever since his elder daughter Yvonne, at the tender age of 21, broke her neck in an accident and survived as a tetraplegic.

Since then Spinal Research has funded research projects which have made great strides towards restoring function to those, like Yvonne, paralysed by spinal chord injuries. With your support for Alan and Randy on this mad adventure we can raise some serious funding to support further worthy research projects.
